4-5 Mile Recovery Run

What: 4-5 Mile Recovery Run
Where: Struble Trail

Again, nothing to note, really. I did work a pretty significant hill into this one. It starts at the 2 mile mark, roughly, and goes almost straight up from the Struble into a housing complex. Like, .4th of a mile at a very high grade. Not fun. Since this was a recovery run I didn’t push on it too much.

Ended up doing 4.61 at almost exactly a 9:00 /mi pace, though each mile was kind of all over the place. Started with an 8:22, hit the area I wanted with a 9:01, crashed on the hill with a >10, raced to get my time back with an 8:13, and finished the last .61 with an 8:48. Nothing like consistency!
