Dragon Age: Origins
The marketing for this game is terrible, but luckily it is misleading. The game is very good and a typical Bioware experience, and the combat itself is the best they’ve done since Baldur’s Gate 2. I loved Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic and even strongly liked Jade Empire, but those [...]
Batman: Arkham Asylum
What kind of a world do we live in where a man dressed up as a BAT…. steals all my press?
This is easily the game of the year thus far for me. The campaign mode is a pitch perfect 10-15 hour experience, which I greatly prefer over 40 hours of drek. And the [...]
Mirror’s Edge
Mirror’s Edge is a frustrating tech demo incorporated in a mazelike gaming world that’s sure to make you throw the controller down when you finally see red. I mean, you have to see red to see where you are supposed to go. The game makes its own metaphors. The Erin Esurance cut-scenes [...]
Thief 4 Confirmed
I hope the game is better than the logo. Thi4f? What the hell?

A New Thief Game Coming?
Is it possible that a new installment from one of my favorite game series is coming? And is it possible it may be coming from NORTH OF THE BORDER?
(Ominous drums)
Rumors abound that a new Thief game may be announced by Eidos Montreal very soon.
The Thief series is a series that I [...]
Fallout 3 First Impressions, or Why I Am Very Old
Can you have First Impressions on a game you have already spent 30 hours on? Absolutely. Though it must be a role playing game.
I’m going to preface this somewhat. I loved Fallout and Fallout 2. I even played (and liked, for what it was) Fallout: Tactics. So [...]
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Summary: A good Star Wars story and some interesting design ideas encompassed in a mess of execution and repetitive, linear gameplay. Worth renting for Star Wars fans only.

Wrath of the Lich King Slouches Slowly Toward Bethlehem…
… Pennsylvania. Then it will complete its trek to my home.
Uh. This post is my cryptic way of saying our copies have shipped. Because I am clinically insane, I ordered… two collectors editions. One for Ali and one for myself. Ha.
War. War Never Changes.
I subscribe to Gamefly. I like being able to receive console games and play them for a minute (Infinite Undiscovery - truly a horrible beginning and my time is too valuable for that drivel) or for hours (Soul Caliber IV - punch kick bite throw win!) or even buy them directly (Final Fantasy Tactics [...]
Burnout: Paradise
Summary: A fun game with a new method of getting into the chaos and mayhem. Incredible graphics. First console that I can remember that legitimately has a ‘live team’. Frustration at later stages lowers the overall fun level a bit.
