BG2 and its expansions are some of my favorite games ever, though how much of that is shrouded in nostlagia? Anyway, this game is not better than BG2, but it IS better than BG1 in my book. I’m probably 60-65% through and at around 40 hours played, but I’m taking my sweet time and reading tons of the lore junk and have even circled back through some areas. I’ve heard reports that you can easily get through the main story in 40 hours, but as with other bioware games I have a feeling replaying will be important to hear and see other companion interaction.

So I would definitely recommend it.

How do you like it compared to, say, BG/BG2? Do I need to get it? Have you finished it once through yet? If so, how long did it take? If not, how long have you been playing it?

I got all but two straight up picks right this week.

I missed on San Fransisco/Minnesota… I picked San Fran to beat Minnesota. And they almost did except for a last second touchdown in the last two seconds!

And I totally missed on Tennessee/NYJ. I thought the Jets would lose. I was very wrong about that one.

I didn’t read the previous comment, but I like how Amy and I both used the word “ramp” in opposite directions. Yes, I am a “ramp down” type of girl! Amy, you’re “ramp up,” and I admire you!
