New Space Quest game in development?

According to Gamespot, there are rumors that a 7th Space Quest adventure game is in the works. That series holds a special place in my past... the original game was one of the first games I played on a computer ever, at the ripe age of 11.

And of course, the rest was history. The type of history that no one cares about, but history nonetheless.
