Northeast Power Outtage

First, yes I was caught in the power outtage. Northern Jersey, where I work, lost power right along with Manhattan. We went to generator long enough to bring the system down, and everything is (relatively) okay.

Second, I escaped unscathed. I got a ride home so I wouldn't have to try to use trains, which, from what I can see, still aren't moving yet. So I got that workin' for me. Which is good.

Third, I obviously have power here in Central Jersey... so, no worries from where I am now.

Pretty weird power outtage though... Ontario, Detroit, New York... all off the grid. We call that a 'cascade failure', I believe.
